Where to swim

Kaminarata is 15 miutes away from Lixouri and about 50 minutes away from Argostoli. Petanoi beach is a 20 minutes drive, as Petanoi is also on the west side of our island. Petanoi is a breathtaking beach with sunbeds, similar to Myrtos beach. On the west side there is also a unigue beach Atheras. A golf full of beauty and fishtaverns. The famous Xi beach with the red sand is about 30 minutes away, Mega Lakkos , Lepeda, Vatsa beach and Kounopetra is easily approachable.Last but not least we are 5 minutes away fron Platia Ammos the ionian gem that takes your breath away when you look at it.

 What to see

Kaminarata has a beautiful folklore museum with rare items that you can visit. You can watsh Aetostasi's sunset the most intimate sunset on the island. A breαthtaking scenere watching the sun fall in the ionian sea. You can also go hiking on the enviromental path Kaminarata- Tafios - Kipouria starting from the foodball field. You can enjoy the wild nature and the best ioniansunset like you have never seen before. Last, a brethtakinq monastery built on th edge of the rocks over the ionian sea will steal your heart. 5 minutes away from the village lies the famous Kipouria monastery .

 Where to eat

In the village we have a traditional tavern with local dishes and a marvellous view to the Argostoli gulf named "Anatoli" and also 5 minutes driving to the closest village Rifi there is "Atsoupi" tavern. A cosy tavern with tasty dishes and meats. 10 minutes away you will eat to "Ladokolla stin Plagia" in Damoulianata village , rigth next to the ionian sea. Of course Lixouri provides a great variety of taverns , restaurants and bars.
